Spotted on the IT-SA conference in Nuremberg this week: The "NCP Secure VPN GovNet Box", an ultra secure VPN appliance that utilizes the Trusted Platform Module for Trusted Startup. If the TPM detecteds tampering or a change in the start-up environment, the device will not work. Platform Integrity in its purest form:
